# Requirements

### 1. Install VC++ <a href="#id-1.-install-vc" id="id-1.-install-vc"></a>

Download VC++ from [here](https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe) and install it.

### 2. Disable Windows Defender <a href="#id-2.-disable-windows-defender" id="id-2.-disable-windows-defender"></a>

{% hint style="danger" %} <mark style="color:red;">Deactivating is not enough! You need to use Windows Defender Control or for other Anti-Viruses you need to uninstall it. You can try to just deactivate it, but if something not works uninstall it before opening a ticket.</mark>

### 3. Close any Overlay <a href="#id-3.-close-any-overlay" id="id-3.-close-any-overlay"></a>

Close all overlays you might have:

* Discord
* GeForce Experience
* MSI Afterburner
* MedalTV
* and so on

### 4. Disable Anti-Cheats

Disable the following Anti-Cheats:

* Vanguard
* FaceIT AC
* etc

### 5. Download Steelseries

[Download ](https://steelseries.com/gg/downloads/gg/latest/windows)and install Steelseries Software, it is needed as we inject into it.

### 6. Disable Memory Integrity <a href="#id-8.-disable-memory-integrity" id="id-8.-disable-memory-integrity"></a>

* Select Start , enter ‘Core Isolation’ in the taskbar, and select Core Isolation from the list of results to open the Windows security app.
* On the Core isolation page, turn off the toggle for Memory integrity. You might need to restart your device.

### 7. Set Borderless

Open Rust without Cheat and set inside the Video-Settings to "Windowed" otherwise you´ll not see any menu and the tool will not work!

### 8. Configure Bios <a href="#id-9.-configure-bios" id="id-9.-configure-bios"></a>

While bootup you´ve to go into your BIOS to make a small change. This you can archive by pressing a specific key while the system is booting up. Most common is DEL or F2.
